KENKO Matcha Green Tea Powder

I love this high quality Matcha tea. It is organically certified and one of the best quality Matcha tea that I have ever come across. This is the one they use for ceremonies and unlike the one that comes in a bigger package that are used for smoothies and cooking. The Matcha is vibrantly, rich, deep green color. I purchased another product similar to this one in Japan Town. This product is more affordable, yet you do not have to give up on quality. The taste is amazingly smooth and rich. I made it for my mom and she loved it. You can make it just with hot water or added to soups or anything you wish. The smell is amazing. There are many benefits of consuming Matcha green tea. It is a high antioxidant (catechins) which helps fight cancer. It helps boost your metabolism and increase your strength at the same time helping you stay focused. Some people also use it to make masks for the face and hair. It is a super green food, which helps anti-aging, clear and control blemishes, and keep your skin and hair healthy.

Open the doors to the sea! Yes, this is that powerful. It's not really a bad smell, just a bit strong. Then again, what do you expect when it's organic kelp powder :D It does not contain any harsh chemicals, so it's safe to use with all skin types. Kelp aka seaweed has tons of benefits for us internally as well as externally. It has a gel-like layer that includes niacinamide (packed with vitamin B3). That can help treat a whole range of skin conditions such as blisters and acne. It also has stabilizing minerals that help your skin stay hydrated and moisturized.  I am Chinese, so I cook and make soup with fresh kelp. The smell doesn't bother me. For my daughter, she didn't like the smell. I added a few drops of essential oil to my DIY masks and she was fine with it. I used this to make facial masks, and it helps clean, revitalize, refresh and treat my sun damaged skin. I like the Jade Leaf Organics Japanese Matcha Green Tea Powder. I have been making a lot of smoothies, bread, and drinks with matcha green tea powder for the last few months. I used to make it a few times a month, but now I do it every day :D There is a generous amount of matcha in this bag. The quality is way better than the ones I get from the Asian supermarkets.
