I love this cute little pink Acc U Rate CMS 500D Generation 2 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter Oximetry Blood Oxygen Saturation Monitor. It has a soft pink silicon cover and neck lanyard. The machine is hypoallergenic and soft, yet very durable. You need two AAA batteries (included) to operate it. One push of the button and it started working right away. It takes your blood oxygen saturation level (SpO2) and heart pulse rate. The animation graph started to move and took the reading from my fingers within seconds. The machine was easy and comfortable to use. My fingers sat snug as a bug in a rug. The display is bright and easy to read. You can also adjust the brightness if you want, but it was bright enough for me to read as is. It also has an auditory alarm to warn you when your SpO2 or pulse rate is beyond set limits. The product also has an auditory beeping sound for every detailed pulse. The accuracy measurements are plus and minus 2% on the oxygen level and plus and minus 2 beats per second. My mom has a heart condition and this is perfect for her to use. She can get accurate and quick readings within seconds. The normal resting heart rate for adults beat between 60-100 per minute, while for children it can be a bit higher. Normal SpO2 reading ranges from 95 to 100, values under 90 is considered low.
